STEP 1: Quality of Ingredients
The Quality of ingredients determine the quality of baked goods. Read and compare brand reviews online and buy products that best suit your baking needs. Make sure your ingredients are fresh with a good shelf life. Store your dry ingredients in a glass or plastic airtight container in an odor free cabinet. If you live in a humid environment store dry products such as flour, milk powder etc. in the refrigerator/freezer as this will prevent clumping. Leavening agents like baking powder and baking soda if not used in a long time need to be tested before use.
